Our tours are still a few weeks away, but we actually made it to the torrens 🙂

We were there for a photo shoot for the new website, and to try out the new location. We’ve worked out  a great trail to travel, and cant wait to get started!

We’re coming to The River Torrens!

After lots of fun in parlement getting some laws changed, we’ll soon be offering tours on the River Torrens in the heart of Adelaide.

We’re in the process of working out the details and getting a new website up to take care of bookings for the new venue, but it won’t be long before we’re up and wheeling!

How the dream became a reality!

The beginning of Segway Sensation SA all began when I was taken on a tour in which I had no interest in doing whilst on a holiday in Sydney with family from Germany. It was a miserable, rainy day and the last thing I wanted to do was jump on some foreign machine, but against my desire to relax on our last few days I went on the Segway tour through Olympic park.

Wow! What a blast!
It was great fun, I could not believe we had nothing like this in South Australia. I returned home to tell my partner Shane of my experience. He immediately saw the opportunity to create something special and bring Segway tours to SA, we knew it would be a great success. We took a trip to WA so Shane could experience a Segway tour and get some ideas on how to run our business.

After plenty of discussions, research and meetings on where to base our first location we partnered with Seppeltsfield Winery in the beautiful Barossa valley. Purchasing our segways was very exciting it felt like forever waiting to receive them from America. How excited we were to finally be unwrapping all 12 segways and setting them up in their own little space.

We are so proud to accomplish our dream and becoming the first segway guided tours in South Australia and look forward to the future and expanding our business.
